Two-year Contract Extesion for Volkan

Fenerbahce concluded a two-year contract extension for the national goalkeeper Volkan Demirel. At the signing ceremony that took place in Fenerbahce Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium Volkan stressed that he is very glad to stay in Fenerbahce for two more years, stating ’Fenerbahce made me who I am. I am very happy to stay in Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce is my everything.’
’Last season was not quite positive for me but the most important thing is that we have won the Turkish title for the 17th time. I hope that I will be at the top of my performance again.’
’I received lots of offers in the summerbreak but I am a real Fenerbahce fan, I have never thought about leaving Fenerbahce.’
 
The Vice-President Mahmut Uslu also thanked Volkan for his attitude during the transfer period, stressing ’I am glad that we have extended his contract for two more years. Volkan is very young and talented. I am sure that he will stay in Fenerbahce for more years.’
